WELCOME BACK!!!!

Sorry for the long delay. Had some downtime due to confusion with the hosting company, the hosting company switching ownership, yearly payment, and a few other things. Looks like things are squared away now.

It seems that the latest database was recoverd from the end of March, so anyone that recently signed up will have to rejoin. Please let me know if you expericence any other problems. The site just came back up and I'm currently out of town so sorry for any delays! Welcome back and thanks for your patience!

FORUM RULES!!!!!

These are the forum posting rules and guidelines. The rules will be enforced by the site moderators and the site administrators.

FORUM POSTING RULES AND GUIDELINES **UPDATED 6 JULY 2007**

� NO PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL IS ALLOWED!
� Members will NOT post personal information such as phone numbers, or addresses of other members on this website whatsoever. If you want someone to know your information, then please do it via private messages, e-mail or whatever.
� No excessive cussing, there are a few words that will be added to the ban list. This will take effect immediately.
� No racial slurs, religious, or sexually inflammatory language.
� Do not threaten or "flame" other members of the Sirenffxi.com community. If you have an issue with someone in game, work it out in game. Do not bring your personal affairs into the forums.
� If a post is locked or deleted because of flaming or because a legitimate topic has turned to flaming, DO NOT start another post continuing the flame. This will result in an immediate ban.
� Do not excessively post in the forums with the same questions or help requests.
� Do not SPAM the forums with multiple posts.
� Do not post the same topic in multiple forums.
� Do not ask to be a moderator in the forums. If you would like to apply, do so by sending a PM to either myself (Klutz) or Abosherpa.
� Do not exhibit disruptive behavior in any way.
� Post topics under their respective forum. For example, a BCNM question goes in the BCNM Forum.
� Any comments/complaints about the staff should not be addressed on a forum but to PMs to Klutz or Abosherpa directly.

PUNISHMENT

Mild offences will result in a post being edited, locked, or deleted by the moderators. If a topic is locked or edited, we will give you a simple explanation as to why and refer to the rule that was broken. For more serious offenses, the post will be deleted and a warning will be given and you may be issued a second warning. After that you will be banned. Bans on Sirenffxi.com are permanent.

If you become banned you may e-mail the site administrators either myself or Abosherpa and we will discuss the situation, with the other moderators, and decide what actions shall be taken.

The rules and posting guidelines for this site are subject to change at anytime. It is your responsibility to check back regularly for updates.

As the site has been growing so have the costs. For those of you that are new to the site we have managed to sign up, as of now, 580+ members since May 8th. During this period the site has trasferred hosting companies 2 times and had to upgrade hosting plans 2 times w/ each host. Sometimes the site was down for a day or two, sometimes not. I am currently working on setting up my own webserver at my house to run the site so that things will be a little more stable and, in the long run, a little less expensive. Recently I have had a few people ask me to put up a PayPal donation box so that they could donate to funding the site. So, here it is! Feel free to donate, although it isn't required, any little bit helps and trust me it's greatly appreciated! On top of all that, I would like to thank you all for the sites success so far! Thanks!
